Aw, I'm glad Kai had a blast. (But so sorry she went through stuff before, though it doesn't surprise me.)

I will tell you that the episode handled it very well. Bailey's sitter is understandably surprised when she puts the pieces together, but even so handles it with grace and a friend of hers helps put it into a better context. The only characters who make a huge deal are supposed to be transphobic, at which point the sitter educates them. So I'm happy for Kai that not only did she get to play someone just like her, but it was well written. Because I've unfortunately seen so many attempts at being "progressive" flop horribly. (Not necessarily in that regard, even, just in general. Your characters just need to be. And Bailey just is. It's perfect.)
